Blackview has unveiled the P10000 Pro, a smartphone with a battery size that makes every other smartphone look like something running out of juice. The smartphone packs a massive 11000mAh battery. IT has become harder for OEMs to place bigger batteries in smartphones, thanks to their powerful processors, but the Blackview chose a different path.

The new smartphone claims to offer up to 50 days of standby time and up to seven days of use on a single charge. The fully charge the device from scratch, it takes about two hours and 25 minutes if using the 5V/5A charger.

This isn't the only phone to carry such a huge battery.
Chinese fellow brand Oukitel also launched its K10000 and K10000 Pro with 10,000mAh batteries with an ability to charge other devices. The battery performance of a device depends on many factors such as the software optimization, a trick firms like Apple and Google have mastered.
As for other specifications, the P10000 Pro flaunts a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek's octa-core Helio P23 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat, with an Android 8,1 Oreo update promised in coming days.
It boasts a dual rear camera that comprises a 16MP and 0.3MP sensors, while the front panel also has a dual camera setup with a 13MP and a 0.3MP sensors. The company has also added a facial recognition tech and a fingerprint sensor for added security. The phone will either have a glass or leather back.
The smartphone doesn't have something extraordinary to offer apart from the oversized battery. If you are still willing to give it a try, the device is available at Ali Express for just under $200.
If we talk about the mainstream companies using huge batteries, then a recent example would be the Huawei Mate 10 that uses a 4000mAh battery. It also supports company's Supercharge via the included 4.5V/5A charging brick. Charging a fully drained device with power off takes up 15 minutes to offer 30-35 percent charge, while it takes 30 mins to charge the device up to 55-60 percent. After an hour you get up to 85-90 percent which is pretty impressive for a battery of that size.
