OnePlus is offering free Avengers: Infinity War tickets
OnePlus recently announced that it's
teaming up with Marvel Studios for an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6. Marvel will be
celebrating its 10th anniversary with the release of Avengers: Infinity War due
on April 27. To add to the celebration OnePlus is giving away 6000
complimentary tickets in collaboration with Paytm.
This isn't the first OnePlus has
offered movie tickets, the company did the same last year with Star Wars: The
Last Jedi. Community members can avail the tickets across cities PVR ICON
Infiniti Mall Versova MUMBAI, PVR Pune Market City (Pune), PVR Kukatpally Forum
Mall (Hyderabad), PVR Elante Mall (Chandigarh), PVR Ampa Mall (Chennai),
Cinemax Mani Square Mall (Kolkata), PVR DLF Mall of India (Delhi NCR), PVR
Forum Mall (Bangalore) and PVR Lulu Mall (Kochi), PVR Acropolis (Ahmedabad).
You just have to follow few simple
steps to get your hands on the tickets. Users just have to visit company's India
website and register their OnePlus IMEI number. They can skip this step if it's
already registered.
Users then have to choose their city
and click on the 'Get It' button which will generate a ticket coupon code if
it's available. After the code is generated, just follow the link and choose
from the shows on April 27, 28, and 29. Paytm will charge Re 1 as a token
processing fee. Users will also get complimentary snacks including popcorn and
a cold drink with each movie ticket.
The company is yet to announce the
kickoff date of the offer, but it should begin soon enough.
As far as other specs are concerned,
the smartphone will flaunt a 6.28-inch FHD AMOLED display with 2,280×1,080
pixel resolution. On the photography front, the smartphone will boast the same
vertically housed dual camera setup comprising of a 20MP and 16MP sensor, but
there's no word on the front camera of the phone. A 3,450mAh battery will fuel
the device and will support company's Dash fast charging functionality.
The device is also going to sport
the controversial iPhone X-like notch. OnePlus CEO, Carl Pei posted a picture
of the notch with its exact dimensions. He also stated that the notch falls
somewhere between iPhone X's and Essential Phone's notch. The OnePlus 6 notch
will house a selfie camera alongside the ambient light sensor, earpiece, and a
notification LED. The only thing missing here is the FaceID tech that makes the
iPhone X notch a tad bigger.
